Progressed Balsamic Phase for Leonardo DiCaprio

Continuing from my investigations in the progressed balsamic phase, let’s look at Leonardo’s which was from May 2003 to Feb 2007.

In Scorsese’s The Aviator (2004), DiCaprio took on the challenge of playing one of America’s most famous businessmen, receiving another Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of the eccentric and reclusive Howard Hughes.

He underwent a severe facial injury in the year 2005 when a model Aretha Wilson, hit him with a broken bottle.

In 2006, he starred in a pair of well-received films, Blood Diamond and The Departed. DiCaprio earned his third Academy Award nomination for Blood Diamond, a dramatic thriller about the pursuit of a precious gem in war-torn Sierra Leone. For the compelling Scorsese-directed crime saga The Departed, he co-starred with Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson.

His on-again, off-again relationship with supermodel Gisele Bündchen was fodder for celebrity magazines and websites from 2000 to 2005.

Dicaprio seemed productive during his progressed balsamic period although he didn’t receive accolades like Meryl Streep. I’m curious to know about his emotional feelscape during this period as the progressed balsamic period ultimately invovles the Moon (and the Sun) after all.
