For some reason, the following from Planets in Therapy by Greg Bogart resonates very strongly with me:
Master astrologers aren’t afraid of Saturn; they use Saturn energy to focus and achieve their goals.
Greg Bogart
It’s not just Saturn, but any other planets that can be harnessed to focus and achieve goals, although it might be more challenging to do that with dynamic aspects.
This is a little off-topic, I am an Astrologer, not professional but I have been fascinated by astrology for over 30 years. I like the fact that master astrologers use productive and resourceful tools when dealing with Saturn. I have never been able to fully tap into my Saturn’s energies and because it is located at the 29th degree of Capricorn there seems to be a karmic play with my Saturn’s energies. This has baffled me for years I am wondering if you have any comments or insight.

Hi Lori. To be honest, it’s difficult for me to fully tap into Saturn’s energies as well even though it’s exalted in Libra, conjunct Jupiter, in angular house, etc. I have experienced both the positive and negative dimension of Saturn throughout my life. It does require tons of work in my perspective. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough clients with 29th degrees to conclude on the validity of how the 29th degree plays out psychologically. How I would approach it would be the usual – aspects, house placement, midpoints, etc. Also, consider your progressed Saturn. Although it doesn’t replace the natal chart, I imagine the current progressed Saturn adds colour to your natal Saturn. Finally, mastering Saturn probably requires a lifetime as that’s just the nature of him.
